Reclaimed Kantha Hand Stitched Purse

One of three one of a kind kantha purse currently available. A perfect large purse to keep everything neat and tidy in your handbag with the sturdy brass zip. 

This example is a very muted pink reclaimed cloth, most likely an old cotton saree which has been used to create a gorgeous geometric hand stitched Kantha, from which this zippable pouch has been crafted. The lining is in a thick blue striped cotton canvas cloth. 

Please note that kanthas are a reclaimed textile and imperfections, small tears etc are very much a part of their charm as it lets you see the layered cloth which is stitched together to bring new life to worn out cloth.
