Patterned 3ft by 7ft Jute Oushak Runner

3ft by 7ft Hand Braided Jute Oushak Rug, an incredibly stylish, eco friendly, natural fibre runner for hallway or bedroom.

I have named this runner the 'Bagheera' as the pattern is reminiscent of leopard print and is a very subtle way to introduce some animal print without feeling gauche.

Although made from woven jute, this runner is crafted using the traditional ‘Oushak’ technique, where there is no pile and a very tight braid is used to create the weave. This plaited texture on the jute creates a lustrous finish which bounces light back more than regular jute weaves. 

As a material jute is incredibly eco friendly as it requires few chemicals or pesticides in its production and requires little treatment in preparation for weaving.
